Razer has launched the Leviathan V2 X PC soundbar, which is cheaper and more compact

Razer’s new Leviathan V2 X PC soundbar is a smaller, stripped-down version of its full-featured sibling that Razer released earlier this year.

The 15.7-inch soundbar comes in at $99.99, but still offers decent features for the price.

In terms of sound, Expect two full-range drivers and two passive radiators with a maximum volume output of 90dB from one meter away.

Missing the standard $249 Leviathan V2’s subwoofer and THX Spatial Audio, you may miss out on more impressive bass-rich audio, which Cameron Faulkner says in his review “sounds pretty fantastic.”

Like its more expensive counterpart, Leviathan V2 X has customizable RGB lighting effects. But instead of 18 different lighting zones. 14 will be obtained.

The Leviathan V2 X also has a USB-C port to charge it via a computer. There is also a monitor (or power brick). It also supports Bluetooth 5.0 if you want to connect wirelessly to your phone (or computer) (otherwise, there’s a USB audio input).

The Leviathan V2 X lacks some of the bells and whistles of the regular Leviathan soundbar, but if you’re looking for a compact sound source for your PC setup, it sounds like a budget-friendly option, but it’s really hard to tell without it.

The device is available for pre-order now with shipping starting September 28th.
