If you use Discord, the new approach appears to be quite close. Facebook Groups are set to undergo some significant changes. The tweaks to Meta’s left-aligned sidebar for Groups and the channels list give it a decidedly Discord vibe. Even the purple accent color in Discord was inspired by Meta.
A new sidebar listing groups with rounded-square icons is at the center of the revisions. They allow users to “pin” groups so that they show up first in the list, similar to Discord and Slack.
I believe a new option will allow users to easily deactivate specific groups from Discord. Conversations and programs in the channels menu are arranged one by one.
group text conversations and channels. Perhaps there are audio rooms (or feed rooms) where users can post and leave comments in a manner similar to how they do so on their own feed. Audio rooms are quite similar to audio rooms in Discord, and text chat is comparable to a Messenger thread.
If you’ve seen something similar previously, please stop me. Picture: Meta
From Meta, you may watch all three channels in the gallery. As stated in the hypothetical group made for video games, this might occur.
The test occurs as Meta starts its transition to give Facebook a more TikTok-like experience. More stuff from accounts you don’t wish to follow will now be suggested to you in the feed. Meta is utilizing Meta as a chance to reevaluate how Facebook Groups ought to function. It will be interesting to watch how Facebook integrates TikTok and Discord in the real world. That can get challenging.
