The iPhone 14 Pro is supposed to revive the traditional battery percentage meter, which was allegedly revealed in a device interface shared with MacRumors (percentage and battery level icon side-by-side). As a result, Apple’s testing in the iOS 16 beta, which displays the percentage inside the battery symbol, will no longer subject Pro customers to the occasionally unreadable horrors of Apple’s testing.

When the phone is locked, Apple can make use of the extra screen space on the iPhone 14 Pro by relocating the notification center and battery indicator to the right side of the screen while keeping the cell service icon on the left.
The speculated always-on display for the iPhone 14 was also revealed by tipper MacRumors. While the device is locked, users can completely modify the appearance and feel of the screen. For example, they can change the color of the wallpaper foreground so that just a section of the image is visible. The widgets will also appear on the always-on screen, as mentioned by MacRumors’ source, although they will cycle in and out quickly to assist prevent OLED burn-in. Any notification will appear on the always-on screen for approximately 10 seconds before going away.
