MagDart is being introduced by Realme. This is how Apple’s MagSafe mechanism for iPhone 12 phones is being used at high power.
The 50W MagDart charger, which Realme touts as the quickest magnetic wireless charger in the world, is the lineup’s standout item.
Its large cuboid shape leaves no room for a cooling fan. Realme will, however, increase users’ access to speedier charging.
According to Realme, the 65W SuperDart wired charger would charge the 4,500mAh phone battery to 100% in 54 minutes using the MagDart charger. It is now quicker than the 50W wired charger from Realme.
Realme produces a more compact and handy 15W MagDart charger if you don’t want to stack charging bricks inside of each other. It resembles Apple’s MagSafe puck in most ways. Realme has a 26.4% thinner profile. The charging rate is allegedly faster. The 4,500mAh battery will be fully charged, claims Realme, in 90 minutes. Compared to Apple’s 15W alternative, this will be far faster.
Realme provides smooth portless attachments, which is the key benefit of magnetic designs like MagDart and MagSafe for convenient wireless charging.
• The recently announced MagSafe Battery Pack from Apple is comparable to the 2-in-1 MagDart Power Bank. But, it features a dock, allowing the phone to double as a battery.
• The MagDart Case is a carbon fiber-inspired case for the brand-new Realme GT flagship phone that features MagDart connectivity in addition to a USB-C port and headphone jack.
• The MagDart Wallet is a three-card wallet that resembles Apple’s MagSafe. However a kickstand is present.
• The MagDart Beauty Light, a flip-up selfie ring light with reverse wireless charging, is arguably the best. It includes 60 tiny LEDs, and brightness and color temperature may both be changed.
Realme’s schedule for releasing new items Pricing is still unknown. The Realme GT is the only phone that has been verified to function with any MagDart device. Realme is showcasing the ecosystem with the Realme Flash, a “concept phone” that has MagDart pre-installed, as seen in the images above. But there are currently no plans to make it available.
This is a big capture for a new, important product ecosystem’s dissemination. Yet, it might be a significant differentiation if Realme incorporates its MagDart into its upcoming smartphones. Chinese smartphones with otherwise outstanding spec sheets frequently lack wireless charging, and Oppo has only lately embraced the technology while Vivo has not yet kept up. Because of the ownership of the company and the sales chain to OnePlus and Realme smartphones, Oppo’s VOOC fast charging method is presumably the same as MagDart.
