For a very long time, people have imagined driving a car that can fly through the air. Everyone has occasionally fantasized about driving the flying cars that appeared in popular 1980s films like Back to the Future and Blade Runner, saying goodbye to the traffic jams that are so good for boredom and irritation (1982).
Concepts that will materialize during the next three years
These aspirations are currently very close to coming true. A German aviation business, Volocopter, has stated that electric automobiles will be flying in the air above Paris and Rome over the next three years in addition to Singapore and Seoul.
The Volocity initiative comprises both the previously listed cities with heavy traffic congestion and cities with significant levels of air pollution. It is feasible to go from the airport to the city, which often takes hours, and do so without emitting any carbon dioxide because Volocopter will employ electric air taxis.
Being an electric vehicle has the added benefit of being able to go silently. Due of the smog in the city, air taxis, which can fly silently and without sound from the sky, are sure to gain popularity. Hence, well-known businesses like Toyota, Hyundai, Uber, Airbus, and Boeing are attempting to compete, and more initiatives like Volocity will likely emerge in the future.
